Is it safe?

Eyelash extensions are safe when applied by trained and certified technicians. The technicians at La Belle Esthétique have received the highest level of training in applying eyelash extensions.

Will my natural eyelashes be damaged?

La Belle Esthétique protects your natural lashes. We will never apply extensions that are too long or too thick, as this could damage your natural lashes. When the application is done correctly and the client follows the care instructions, the natural lashes remain undamaged.

How long does it take to get eyelash extensions?

After the initial full set, touch-ups are needed every 2 to 4 weeks, depending on your maintenance routine, lifestyle, and the natural growth cycle of your eyelashes. Touch-ups allow us to remove damaged or overgrown extensions and replace them with new ones.

What is the natural eyelash growth cycle?

The lifespan of a natural eyelash is 45 to 90 days. Whether or not you have eyelash extensions, you naturally lose 2 to 5 eyelashes a day. A natural eyelash goes through three phases: baby, adult, and mature. When a mature eyelash falls out, it is replaced by a new, growing eyelash.

How do we apply eyelash extensions?

The first step is to clean your natural lashes and eyelids. Sterilized pads are then applied to protect your eyes and separate your lashes. Each extension is then applied individually to each natural lash, about 1 mm from the eyelid. We typically apply between 50 and 150 extensions per eye, depending on the number of natural lashes. A session lasts 1 to 2 hours, depending on the type of application selected.

Is the procedure painful?

No, getting eyelash extensions isn't painful. Some people even find the sessions very relaxing. Some people's eyes may water slightly, especially if they have sensitive eyes, in which case we use a fan to dry the client's eyes.

What kind of glue do you use?

We use Tini & Co. adhesive, one of the most well-known brands in Quebec for eyelash extensions. This high-quality adhesive is specially formulated for applying eyelash extensions.

What is the difference between each type of eyelash extension application?

At La Belle Esthétique, we offer seven types of eyelash extension applications: Classic, Ellipse, YY, Hybrid, Wet-Look, Volume, and Mega Volume.
